Maternity Photos

36 weeks today!!! ♥ Only 4 weeks or less left til Warren Mercer is here!!! I hope I don’t go past my due date! I have a doctor’s appointment Friday afternoon so we will see what they have to say. I got my maternity pictures done Sunday by JLM Photography & got two previews. I love them! Can’t wait to see all of them when she is done editing :D

I have been taking child birthing classes and I have class tonight. Today is the main day I think because she is going to talk about all the meds that the offer while in labor, what to take in hospital bag, contractions & so on.. Hubby has duty today so wont be able to go but oh well.. Tomorrow night we have the maternity tour so we know where to go and all that & then I have a breastfeeding class Thursday morning. This week is just BUSY BUSY BUSY!

On another note.. The hubby is considering going Blue to Green & since his contract is up July next year I guess that means its def time to decide. I am ok with it & honestly want him to stay in the Military so we shall see.

Diaper shower

I had my diaper shower Saturday & it was a success! I’m thankful for everyone who helped & gave me gifts J I have been organizing the nursery & getting everything ready for the arrival since then! Definitely nesting as they call it! Only 5 weeks left til my due date! I’m hoping I don’t go that long & he comes sooner but we shall see J I met with a pediatrician today & I am pretty certain she is the one that I am going to be using. Still need to talk it over with the hubby but he doesn’t seem to really care. I have maternity pictures Sunday & I am very excited! I am going today to meet with the photographer to get some supplies for props & stuff: D The hubby will be in some pictures but I will be alone in most: D

Saturday was my baby shower in Florida.. It was GREAT! Still need some stuff but got a lot! When hubby gets home from work today we are going to take everything I got at the baby shower to the nursery & put the changing table together, then organize a little :-) I am really excited & can’t wait to get some wall decorations to put up! I only have 7 weeks left til the little man is here :-) The family is hoping he comes May 25th since that was my original due date & it’s my parents anniversary. But of course he is going to come when he wants to. I have a doctor’s appointment Friday afternoon so we will see what the doctor says.

Productive so far :)

Today has already been a pretty productive day! My mom is flying in tonight to help me drive down to Florida tomorrow for my baby shower on Saturday. I had to go to the bank this morning and pretty much went as soon as they opened, then I went to the hospital to turn in my OB Registration for the baby and came home to clean up some. The weather is so nice! I opened the windows as I was beginning to clean up. I have already mopped the front hall, kitchen & cleaned the downstairs bathroom. I still need to clean the upstairs bathroom, do the dishes & finish packing for my trip but I am thinking its time for a little nap! Its going to be a LOOONG night & trip tomorrow! I am so excited for my Baby Shower on Saturday!!! I cant wait to get back & really get on the ball with setting up the nursery with the stuff I get from my shower. Only 8 more weeks til Warren is here! Time sure did fly by!

A little of this & that.. Also some advice please?

This is my little man last Monday at 30 weeks 6 days. I along with my whole family think he has my nose :) I am now 32 weeks!!! YAY!!! I cant wait to meet him! I am going to Florida this weekend for my baby shower the family is throwing me & I am super excited! My mom is flying in Thursday night & then we leave early Friday morning, I am coming back Sunday with a friend. A friend who lives here is throwing me a diaper shower on the 23rd & then I have Maternity Pictures May 1st. This month is going to FLY by, but then that makes meeting my little man come that much sooner :-)

Now I dont like to vent but I need to vent a little... My husband has started this business with selling stuff online, you have to go to meetings every week either Tuesday or Thursday night. Then they have like Grand Openings to show people the products on Saturdays but not every Saturday. The end of this month there is a function for the business April 29-May 1 and its in Kentucky. I will be almost 36weeks pregnant and he wants me to go with him on a 10hr drive there & then 10hrs back. I have told him numerous times I dont think its a good idea to go for either of us. 1 because you have to pay like 60$ a ticket per person then buy food & room. Ive told him I thought we should save that money for the baby or emergency but he blows up! Is it wrong that I dont think its a good idea?

Closer & Closer

Getting closer & closer to my due date.. I still have 9 weeks left but it sure has flown by! I had a doctors appointment last Wednesday and he said my stomach was measuring small but since I am small he wasn't to worried just wanted to do an ultrasound to make sure. Monday I had the ultrasound & everything was good, baby Warren was 3 pounds 11 oz & it looks like he has my nose :) My mom is flying up next Thursday to drive down to Florida with me next Friday & she is throwing me a baby shower there on April 9th. I am so excited! Then once I get back from Florida we can really start to get the nursery together.. Wall decorations & all. Super excited! I'm having a diaper shower here towards the end of April. The next 2 months I will be super busy but I am REALLY excited & can not wait to meet my little man!

We had the 3d/4d ultrasound last Thursday and found out we will be having a little boy.. Warren Mercer Garrison! I have a doctors appointment with my doctor on Wednesday so we get to see him again and see how he is measuring. The family got in on the 23rd that morning then we went to the ultrasound. Everyone says he has my profile :) Christmas was good.. I was really happy we got to find out the sex and my family could be here. They had to leave Christmas night but it was still great to have them here for the ultrasound and Christmas. As of today hubby is on leave but we aren't going anywhere just staying home and spending time together.
